On June 5th , the fences of UNESCO in Paris were adorned with outstanding works from the "Youth Eyes on Silk Road " International Photo Contest, which were exhibited to the international community. At the Silk Road Dialogue Conference, ambassadors and young scholars from various countries talked about the history and reality of the Silk Road in different cultural regions and countries, as well as the research results and expectations of world cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage. H.E.Ms.Lydia, Assistant Director General of UNESCO, and H.E.Ms.Yang Xinyu, Ambassador of China to UNESCO, thanked the China World Peace Foundation and the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation for their long-term support of the Silk Road Cultural Interaction and the International Youth Photo Contest in their speeches. Ambassador Yang Xinyu said that the "Youth Eyes on Silk Road " photo contest has has grown into a vibrant and enduring platform for intercultural dialogue, firmly supporting and committed to peace building and cultural diplomacy, nourishing both the humanistic spirit and impact advocated by the project.
Chairman Li Ruohong said in his keynote speech: "We are companions of historical memory and creators of future wealth. We hope to not forget our original intention, continue to develop more valuable global public projects and products, and empower the cultural interaction map of the Silk Road.
After the dialogue conference, under the witness of Ambassador Yang Xinyu and the Silk Road project leader, Chairman Li Ruohong signed a future cooperation and development amendment with UNESCO Assistant Director General H.E.Ms. Lydia.
Together with Deputy Director General H.E.Mr. Qu Xing of UNESCO, they also attended the Silk Road Food Event organized by the Chinese Cuisine Association .
